Step 2: Pick your social or conservatory activity
Do you want to learn something new or developing your existing skills, while volunteering or following your internship in South Africa. Maybe learn how to play a musical instrument or make a cocktail.
We have different professional courses to offer, you can follow during your GAP year abroad.
Step 3: Travelling, YES! Tell us what you want to see?
A must do during your GAP experience in South Africa, is visiting places and exploring South Africa. We offer daytrips for during your weekends or longer trip if you have some time off. GAP Africa can assist with booking holidays to the must-visit places in South Africa.
Step 4: Get in Touch!
Choose the communication channel you prefer and contact us via email, phone or Skype. Our initial chats will be about your background, interests, ambitions, how much time you have available and what you want to achieve during your gap year adventure.
As soon as we have a good idea of what you wish to achieve, we’ll get to work to match your personal requirements. Please let us know on time it is what you want so we can schedule your program accordingly.
Step 5: Accommodation, transport and point of contact
GAP Africa offers different type of accommodation during your stay: From home stays, to backpackers and an apartment.
Do you want to rent a car, or make use of public transport during your stay? All is possible.
We will be your person of contact throughout your GAP experience. In case of questions or possible issues, you can contact us 24/7.
Step 6: We see you in Cape Town, South Africa!
Now all that remains for you to do is to book your flights, say a few temporary goodbyes and set off on your grand adventure abroad.
