Within the community of Hout Bay they want to create a holistic, healthy, sustainable and united community in Hout Bay. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn intelligent gardening techniques by volunteering with the organization.

Local Pottery
Location: Cape Town

Volunteer with a pottery in one of the communities in Cape Town. The pottery has existed for 5.5 years and creates beautiful designs in terms of thee cups or instruments. They contribute to the conditions for the people in the Macassar township. The pottery has the possibility to create a personalized program per volunteer however they are mostly interested in young people that are experienced/interested in art and music.

Skills development for refugees
Location: Cape Town

Follow your internship or volunteer for an organization that assists refugees, migrants and asylum seeker clients to increase their skills to find a job. Interns and volunteers support every aspect of the organizations programmes, from teaching English and administrative support, to Outreach and Advocacy work.

Skills development of children and teenagers in prison

Location: Cape Town

Follow your internship or volunteer with a non-profit organization located in Salt River, who helps children and youth in 4 different prisons in the Western Cape. With the use of different programs they help the children and youth back into society by teaching them life skills in and outside the prison. You need to have an educational background in social work, psychological or creative arts.
