Make sure you book an early flight, where you will arrive before 08:00 at O.R. Tambo Int. Airport or when you fly to Kruger Mpumalanga Int. Airport before 14:00. After you picked up your car you can drive to the Kruger National Park where you will be sleeping at Skukuza Rest Camp, which is the biggest camp of the park. There won’t be much time to relax, a Sunset Game Drive is waiting for you at the end of the afternoon to not waste any time and to start spotting wildlife immediately.
You don’t know what can happen around the corner in the bush and discovering it by yourself will give you the ultimate safari feeling, on this day you will have a self-drive safari in your rented vehicle. Ask around at the reception where all the wildlife is recently spotted and leave early from the camp to get the most out of your day. Afterwards a nice bush braai is waiting for you at the camp.
Not tired of spotting wildlife yet or maybe you still haven’t seen the Big 5 completely? No worries, a Morning Bush Walk is on the schedule on the 3rd day to provide you the chance to look for some more wildlife together with an experienced ranger, by feed. After this Bush walk it’s time to check out at and head of to your next location, outside of the Kruger Park. An exciting tubing/geckoing activity at the Sabie River is on the schedule to provide you some fun and adrenaline. With this unique rafting experience, you negotiate river rapids in your own boat with your face at river level. Afterwards it’s time to go to your next accommodation which is located at Hazyview; you will stay at Aan de Vliet Holiday Resort for the night. You can relax at the pool or when you’re not that tired you can discover a part of the Panorama Route already.
There’s no time to sleep in because you will need all the time to discover the beautiful Panorama Route. Visit waterfalls, The Big Swing at Graskop, God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and admire the renowned Blyde River Canyon with the Three Rondavels. Afterwards it’s time to go back to the airport, drop off your car and have a safe flight back to Cape Town.
